-------- as waves settle onto stormy beaches I return to my abandoned and broken car that was left by the concrete promenade that I've always called home it seems like all those antiques were just souvenirs of hope and it feels like, i’m coming home when you come back from that open shoreline will you tell me what made you want to stay cos it’s so hard to be taken seriously when your home is so far away it seems like all those antiques were just souvenirs of hope and it feels like, i’m coming home we are sick of the fall and our curses are made in foreign tongues but we’re safe, safe on the shore, watching the tidal motions call there are times, times that we roam far from the hole in the ocean floor but for now there’s a space in my heart and they say this is growing up --------

about

--------
as waves settle onto stormy beaches
I return to my abandoned and broken car
that was left by the concrete promenade
that I've always called home

it seems like all those antiques were just souvenirs of hope
and it feels like, i’m coming home

when you come back from that open shoreline
will you tell me what made you want to stay
cos it’s so hard to be taken seriously
when your home is so far away

it seems like all those antiques were just souvenirs of hope
and it feels like, i’m coming home

we are sick of the fall and our curses are made in foreign tongues
but we’re safe, safe on the shore, watching the tidal motions call
there are times, times that we roam far from the hole in the ocean floor
but for now there’s a space in my heart and they say this is growing up
